Samuel was beginning to think that this dream wasn't a dream at all. Seeing the wet, sorry sights of these two men made him grateful he had his work clothes on. He was wearing them when it happened, which made Samuel think There is only one way to figure out what's going on here. Scratching his beard he asked the two men in front of him "So, did you guys die as well?"

I regard you with a look of confusion as I take a moment to finish catching my breath. Still tense, i straighten my back, fix my posture and think to myself what the hell is this wackjob talking about? I finally find someone to talk to - a construction worker? - and that person is yabbering on about death. Where the hell am I?

I keep my distance from this stranger and respond "What? Look, I don't have much time. I woke up in a hospital without any of my belongings. Im not too sure where I am and I dont have any money. Can I please use your cellphone? I need to call my brother.. it will only take a moment."

Rushing over to the bigger man I call out "Have y'seen me bro- Oh thank t' Lord Roi, yer alright" looking between the bigger man and my brother "I woke up inna lab, not my lab though, an' t'was just me there, but Roi, da'd be pissed I think I had a heart attack. Oh Sorry where're me manners" wiping his hands on his pants and offering it to the other man "I'm Ciarán, just bloody good to see me brother alive"

Samuel crossed his arms, and regarded the two in front of him. They seemed real enough, enough that he wasn't going question it. "Guess you won't be needing my cellphone eh? Name's Samuel, you can call me Sam. Once your little reunion is done answer my damn question you two: Did you die?" (edited)

I visibly relax at the sight of my brother. "Oh Ciaran, what a relief it is to see you! And what is this talk about a heart attack now? You know you're too young and too skinny to be getting one of those! Sounds like you've been havin a wee too much beer again. And Pa's gonna flip at me too! I lost all me belongings, you see.." I extend out my hands "I dont suppose you could text ma and let her know we wont be making dinner? Wouldn't want to worry her.. she is worried enough these days."

I turn to Sam "My apologies, good sir. I was in a wee panic and forgot to introduce myself. My name is Conroy MacCleod, but you can call mr Roi" I go to wipe by hand on my gown only to introduce a new tear "Perhaps we can save the handshake for when we are out of this rain?"

again I look at you confused "I'm not too sure what you are talking about... I had a bit of a fall... I think... and then I woke up in the hospital. Why do you think I died?" I glance curiously over to Cairan, looking for some support. You can tell I am struggling to understand what is going on

"Roi me phone ain't worth a damn, wherever this is, we ain't 'In Kansas no more'. 'sides I was at work, not at the bar when I had the heart attack, we seen Da have one. I know what it was.."

"Sorry Sam, clearly we gettin' caught up in ourselves. Again, I'm Ciarán. When ye said 'Did I die?', I guess ye could say it felt like it, but well I'm 'ere now, so I cannae be sure what t'believe, but.." taking his labcoat off and offering it to Roi "I'll take a stab in the dark and assume somethin' happened to us all and when we came to we all felt an urge to get here? By t' way, nice, uh... chair leg?"

looking at both of them "It's real shite weather y'know, and honestly I get the feelin' somethin' is out here with us" gesturing at the Cathedral "Know where the door to this house of the Lord is? Cause I don't wanna be out here no more."

"Oh this?" Sam holds up the chair leg "I wasn't sure what was happening, so I grabbed it just to be safe"

"We should get out of the rain, you two will catch a cold at this rate" Samuel then gestures towards the front of the cathedral "I haven't seen any openings on this side, but the front doors might give us some luck"

"Y'both be crazy for thinkin you died... but I believe what y'tellin me" I scratch my head "I just cant really remember what happened before the hospital asides from I was falling. I just figured I received medical attention, wakin up in a hospital'n'all"

I turn to Sam and let out a soft chuckle "we're Irish. We dont catch cold from the rain, but I do agree with ye. I pray there's somethin inside that I can change into. There wasnt an openin on the side I came from." I follow Sam's lead as we try to find an entrance
